And on my first session, I made so many mistakes, but my instructor gave me a list of things to work on—and I did. She didn’t accept mediocrity, but she also encouraged me when necessary! 1. What are the age requirements to start lessons?

Students must be at least 15 years and 6 months old and have a valid learner’s permit as required by Virginia law to begin behind-the-wheel lessons.

2. How do I schedule my lessons?

All lesson registrations are done online through our website. If you have any questions before registering, you can send us a message, and we’ll be happy to help.

3. Can I join Teen Behind-the-Wheel lessons before 9 months?

Yes! If you’ve completed the required driving hours, including daytime and nighttime practice, you are eligible to start the Teen Behind-the-Wheel course.

4. What types of courses do you offer?

We provide beginner driver education, defensive driving, and refresher lessons for experienced drivers.

5. How long is each lesson?

Most lessons last about 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the package and your availability.

6. Are your driving lesson schedules flexible?

Yes! We can arrange lessons to fit your schedule. Just let us know in advance which dates and times work best, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

7. Do you offer pick-up and drop-off for behind-the-wheel lessons?

Yes, pick-up and drop-off are included in all lesson packages for your convenience.

8. How many lessons will I need to learn to drive?

Every student learns at a different pace. The number of lessons depends on your prior experience, comfort level, and ability to grasp new skills. Your instructor will guide you and recommend how many lessons you need to feel confident and ready for your test.

9. Do I need a learner's permit before starting lessons?

Yes, students under 18 must have a valid learner’s permit to begin behind-the-wheel training.

10. How can I find my license number?

Your Permit Identification Number issued by the Virginia DMV serves as your license number for your learner’s permit.

11. What safety measures do you take during lessons?

Safety is our top priority. All vehicles have dual controls, and our instructors follow strict safety protocols during every lesson.
